KEN COLLINS, PRESIDENT/ CEO

In the late 1970's the presence of asbestos in public buildings, schools, offices and such brought great concern to the government. The health and safety of the residents and workers in the insulation business resulted in a great demand for remediation of this harmful substance.

Two enterprising business men, Gord Barranger of Don Valley Insulation and Gord Collins of Gorbern Mechanical had experience working with asbestos and the need for great care in its installation and abatement. In 1981 Envirosafe was created. Their expertise in the safe handling of asbestos gave them the ability to understand the vital importance of the safe removal and disposal of asbestos.

Like many workers, and some of their family members in the Insulation industry, Gord Barranger succumbed to Mesothelioma in 1998 at the age of 61.

Shaun Fralic joined the Company in 1999 and became instrumental in the continued growth of Envirosafe after Gord's death.

Ken, Shaun and their staff continue to maintain the highest level of knowledge and service that has made Envirosafe a leader in their Industry for nearly twenty years.
